OMG it's me! Update...
Hello all its me again. I haven't been posting at all lately so I thought that I probably should. Its been a busy last few weeks for me with school starting back. The first week back I got sick with a nasty little cold and a sinus infection. I started doing Tobramycin sinus rinses and some Levaquin to clear that up. I was sooo miserable that entire week with coughing and not getting much sleep. To make things even better a girl walks into class wearing what looked like a TB mask and announces that she has strep throat. Great. I sat far far away from her that day. That made me paranoid enough to start bringing packs of Clorox wipes in my purse and wiping down my desks and keyboards eveyday. I'm sure that people must think im crazy. I know the old ladies in the library are going to freak when they catch me doing that. They are very particular about making sure everyone obeys the rules while in their library. Im over my cold now and feeling much better. So thankful that my lungs made it through and cold and PMS at the same time. That is a dangerous combination.
I have made a new friend named Mattie. When I told her that I had Cystic Fibrosis I was surprised to find out that she kinda-sorta knew a little about it. She said "oh yeah, I know what that is, it has to do with your mucus membranes. You must be European right?" That is not exactly right but I was surprised she even knew that. There is a guy in one of my lab classes that really gets under my skin. He makes every experiment difficult. He immediately shoots down any ideas or suggestions that are made. He is the guy in the group that is fine with getting just a passing grade while everyone else wants an A. Im just going to ignore him from now on. He says he plays video games all day everyday. So I really dont think he is to be taken seriously.
I also got kicked out of my friend's wedding. There are 10 weeks until the wedding. I was planning on going next Friday to get fitted for my bridesmaid dress. That would leave 9 weeks unitl the wedding. The bride decides to tell me Thursday night at 10:30 that I MUST get fitted before the week was out because it takes 6 weeks for the dress to come in. That only left that Friday or Saturday to do it. I tried to explain that if I waited until the next Friday that it would be plenty of time for the dress to come in with 3 weeks left over. She wasn't having it and kicked me out because I couldn't do it this weekend. She obviously cannot do math. She was really just angry that I wasn't willing to get it done on HER time. I didn't really want to be in her doom wedding anyway. She met the guy 2 months ago on eharmony. They knew each other for 2 weeks and decided to get engaged. The guy has an 8-year-old daughter. She doesn't really know this guy and I don't think she realizes that she will have to take some responsibility with that child. Oh well its her life she is ruining not mine. She was also engaged to a totally different guy only 4 months ago.
Overall, it has been a pretty awesome last few weeks. Saints vs. Vikings game is coming up this Thursday. People around here have been calling the the ViQueens. It should be interesting. Geaux Saints!
